Everyone should be able to read this site and book a walk‑through
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, at level AA. This page says what we have done, what still falls short, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

How this site is made
What we have done so far
An outside auditor has not checked this site. Items marked not yet checked have not been tested by hand.
- Type you can read
Body text is at least 18 pixels; captions and labels are a little smaller. It is set in Atkinson Hyperlegible Next, a typeface made for the Braille Institute to help readers with low vision.
- Strong contrast
Text is near-black on white or off-white, or white on dark blue or black. Colour is never the only way we show something: every status also has a word next to it.
- Nothing plays on its own
No video starts by itself and nothing slides past on a timer. A few marks draw once as you scroll; they stay still if your device asks for less motion. Forms have no time limit.
- Plain words
We write for a reading age of about 12, and explain any term a school would not use itself.
- Booking with the keyboard
We have worked through the walk-through calendar with the keyboard alone, from picking a day to filling in your details. Every link, button and field can be reached with the Tab key and shows a clear outline. On the calendar, the days and the times are each one stop: the arrow keys move between them, and focus moves on to the next step as you go.
- Labels for screen readers
Pages have proper headings and labels. On the calendar, each time is named with its day, loading times is announced, and every error is linked to the box it is about. We have checked this markup ourselves; we have not yet tried the calendar with VoiceOver or another screen reader.
- Zoom and small screens
Not yet checked by hand. Pages rearrange to fit a phone, or a screen zoomed to four times the size, without scrolling sideways.
Known problems
What still falls short
We know about these. Each one has a way round it until it is fixed.
| Where | What is wrong | What you can do now |
|---|---|---|
| Walk-through calendar | The booking calendar works with the keyboard alone and is labelled for screen readers, but we have not yet booked with VoiceOver or another screen reader ourselves. | Email hello |
| Product screens | Pictures of Keely's screens have a short description, but not every detail in them is written out. | The text beside each picture says what it shows. Ask, and we will describe any screen in full. |
| The film | Both cuts of the film have captions, but no audio description yet. | The Tour page writes out the full film: each chapter, and every line said and shown. |
