Job 01 of 07 · Bookings and courses
Put your season's dates in once. Your website shows them with the places left, the office takes phone bookings into the same diary, and Keely collects what is owed. When two courses share a yacht, they share its berths. When the last berth goes on Day Skipper, the Competent Crew page shows it has gone too.

Phone, email and walk-in bookings
Someone rings at ten past ten. You build the order while they are on the line, and Keely sends them a link to pay the deposit. If they would rather pay by bank transfer or cash, you record that instead.
Their forms and joining instructions go out just as they would for a booking made on your website. A pay link counts as paid online. Cash and bank transfer carry no fee.
Deposits and balances
Nobody in the office sends a reminder or takes a card number by phone.
You choose the deposit and how many days before the course the balance is due. Keely does the rest, and the money goes into your own Stripe account.

The deposit and the balance, each recorded against the booking.
You set the deposit and the day the balance is due. Keely sends the reminder, takes the payment and records it against the booking.

When someone cancels, offer the place to the next person on the list. While the office's offer is open, that place is kept back for them. It runs out if they do not take it, so you can move on to the next name.
Sell Day Skipper theory and the practical as one purchase, or a gift voucher that the person who receives it uses at checkout.
Expected, arrived and attended for each student. Mark the whole crew in one go once everyone is on the pontoon.
People join the waitlist from the course page, and the office offers them the next place that frees up.
Pick the new date and Keely moves the booking across, with everything the customer has paid.
When you cancel for weather, each customer picks a new date from your website, or takes the refund or credit you offer. Keely records it.
The place is held for the customer while they pay at the checkout.
Take card payments at the desk, recorded against the order as they happen.
